Porch Renovation

From an empty porch to a year-round retreat.

From the moment you step inside this room, you feel the warmth of natural light all around!

What was once an empty screened porch with a traditional red brick fireplace, is now a year-round retreat.  Thin cut real stone veneer was installed over the brick fireplace to completely transform the look and feel of the fireplace. The open side of the screened porch was framed into the house with new sierra pacific windows and new light and airy patio door.

To adorn the ceiling, exposed douglas fir rafters and a ridge beam tie seamlessly into a fir band around the perimeter of the room.  New 8x8 douglas fir posts complete with trim were installed throughout. To complete the room and make it enjoyable year-round, new supply and return air ducts were added.
